The 21st Kazan International Film Festival "Golden Pulpit" will meet art lovers on September 5-9

According to a written statement on the subject, films from 29 countries will compete in the festival supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

🔹 AA Live for instant developmentsThe festival, which will be held for the 21st time this year between September 5-9, will feature competitions in the feature and short film, documentary and animation categories.
Participants will also be presented with forums, pitching sessions, Turkish, Kyrgyz, Kazakh and African Cinema Days, special programs titled "Kazan Film Market," "Ethnic Cinema: Growth Points," "Russia-Islamic World" and "Turkic World," as well as a retrospective selection of films by director Vadim Abdrashitov and the film "Otto" by jury president Resul Pookutty.
This year, the festival will also feature a non-competitive program titled "Through the Eyes of Memory," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Russia's "Victory in the Great Patriotic War" (World War II).
The short film "Mori" directed by Yakup Tekintangaç, the documentary "My Grandfather's House" written by Ragıp Taranç and Gülten Taranç, and the feature film "Whale Knowledge" directed by Önder Şengül will compete for Türkiye at the festival.
